A work specifically about the sewing machine and the dichotomy of the brutal but delicate. The industry and the intimacy. The women's work (traditionally) and the mass production of capitalism.

I want to make an indigenous music of the self. I want the sound to come from controlled machines that only make sense to me.

This was recorded while l was slowly finding my way and coming out as transgender. Making that step which I tried to make in my youth but could not fight the resistance to it. It was only in 2019 that those things came to fruition in my mind. It would take another year to fully make that change.

Recorded live using two sewing machines and looping effects
Also vocals and harmonic processed through reverb.
